I got a new cigarbox fretless banjo and wanted to post the sound of it.  This not a song, it's more of an exercise.  thanks for listening.

My latest attempt at song writing.  I am learning the frailing style of playing the 5 string banjo and wrote this song with that style.  Singing and playing at the same time is very difficult for me, I have been forcing myself to do just that when I play or record something.   And that is how this song was recorded.   I plugged a mic into my ibook and hit record.  I took a few takes and kept the one that was the least painful to listen to.

I wrote this after experiencing my first blizzard.  I grew up in Southern California and now I live in the Northeast of the US.  Snow was something that I only saw on TV.  Anyway, I took advantage of my first snow day and wrote this.

Spent an entire summer trapped in my room as a kid.  This is the song about what that was like.   Also this was recorded on a computer with editting software and midi drums.

I was trying to juxtapose the desirable imagery of a kiss with the oh so wrong person.
